Iowa Rotocast Plastics (IRP) incorporated in 1986, is a manufacturer and supplier of premier merchandising equipment, including rotationally-molded plastic products, wire racks, electric refrigeration, and fabricated portables for food and beverage concessionaires. IRP past and current clientele includes Fortune 500 companies such as Anheuser Busch InBev, MillerCoors, PepsiCo, Gatorade, Coca-Cola, Constellation Brands, Nestlé Waters, and many more.

IRP has significant experience in the design and fabrication of carts and kiosks in over 200 professional or collegiate sports venues. IRP’s explosive growth in the fabricated equipment sector is due in part to their innovative designs, superior products, as well as their ability to meet crucial project deadlines. IRP’s entire fabrication process is streamlined because all elements of design and production are kept in-house, allowing maximum efficiency and quality control. This means all projects ship straight from the facility where they are designed and fabricated.

IRP clientele take comfort in knowing that IRP has complete control over their product, from start to finish. Quality Control Technicians handle every aspect of prepping for shipping including wrapping, packing, and crating. In addition, the assigned Project Managers will ensure your equipment arrives in your facility in pristine condition, with many opting to use our crew to facilitate with setup and install.

Given the caliber of the product line and the phenomenal growth of the company, it’s easy for IRP’s humble grassroots origin story to get overlooked. IRP is a privately held and family owned company. The company began as ‘Super Cooler’, the original creator of the keg cooler. Floyd and Susan Mount founded the company in 1983 and set up production in a building constructed on their home property. In 1986, Super Cooler changed its name to Iowa Rotocast Plastics to better reflect their continually expanding product offerings, and in 1987 the production was moved to a larger facility in Decorah, IA. Since it’s inception, IRP has had three relocations and numerous expansions due to growth. The current IRP manufacturing plant based in Decorah is now over 200,000 square feet, with production running 24 hours a day, five days a week.

IRP is capable of turning your idea into a reality, whether your idea is a custom roto-molded plastic product, a wire rack in a unique powder-coated color, or a grandiose kiosk. IRP’s dedicated team has a proven track record of delivering finished products on time and within budget.

If you dream it, IRP can build it.
